Sweet Moments

How exciting it is to be here,  I hope the New Year is treating you well.  It is meant to be summer here in New Zealand but at the moment we are having more inside days than out,  the days we do get to adventure outside are  full of fun times.  Just before Christmas I took the kids down to our local beach for a bit of a play.  I took my camera hoping I might get a few photos  :-).    I did !

My first share for tonight is a layout I did of my oldest daughter,  I love this photo.

I enjoy cutting embellishments out of papers,  I cut all the roses out and then inked the edges.  Once I had everything in place I attached.  To finish the project off I needed something that would pop and found the perfect flourish.

 The Adam large Vine flourish!

I cut the flourish up to add to my clusters of roses!  Perfect match :-)

My next share is another photo from the same day,  this time my three oldest girls.. so precious

Here I have had lots of fun with masks, sprays and inks.   In this layout I have used

Jack vine Olive green, Chloe Pearl black, and adhesive pearls of assorted sizes in chocolate and blue.  I have cut up my flourishes again to frame my photo.

Here is some close ups.

I love the look of the flourishes together

Here you can see I have used the pearls to center my flowers,  it’s the little things that you do I think that can make a layout pop.  My last share for today is a card that I made, I got on a bit of a roll the other day and made a whole set of cards using the technique  from Tim Holtz January tag.  I love the contrast in colour of the Luke teal flourish

Well that is all from me tonight.

I am hoping for better weather tomorrow so I can take the house bound kids to the park.

Happy Scrappin and until next time, take care
